In Spanish "Alma del Fuego" translates to "soul of fire", a very fitting name as Plasencia has crafted this cigar as a love letter to Ometepe Island in Nicaragua, where the binder and some of the filler leaves are grown and then aged for seven years. Ometepe's rich volcanic soil lends to a nutty, coffee flavor, rounded out with sweet, woody smoke in a medium-plus-bodied blend. Alma del Fuego is highly acclaimed, receiving a 93 rating from Cigar Aficionado and a spot in the 2019 Top 25 Cigars of the Year in 2019.
