A new spin on one of Foundation's classics...The original Charter Oak blends were created by Nick Melillo as an homage to his grandfather, who was from Connecticut. Each blend had its own way of being traced back to the Constitution State, and each box features the Charter Oak, a prominent tree in a field among tobacco plants. These new blends bear the same name, but have been amped up in the strength and flavor department! The Pegnataro features a Connecticut Shade wrapper leaf with a Nicaraguan binder and Nicaraguan long-fillers underneath. Don't be mistaken by the mellow-mannered wrapper leaf's looks, because this is one powerful shade-grown beauty.
