About this listing
Each sampler includes 2 each of the following: Buena Vista EL Toro Larga (6.5"x52) - Gorgeous Habano wrapper that are shade of medium to dark brown with ample oils and tooth. Nice draw with slight resistance, this slow-burning smoke has a perfect burn line, wonderful aroma and a thick, chonky white ash that holds like a champ. Notes of cedary and subtle pepper. Florida Man Santiago (6.5"x52) - Florida Man is crafted with a lovely Connecticut wrapper that's oozing with a golden sheen, buttery smooth looking with some fine veins. Like all Raymond-made blends, it brings flawless construction including an ash that stays solid damn near halfway through the smoke. Almost medium-bodied, it's on the medium side of mild to medium for sure, with enough oomph to stay extremely interesting but without the slight bitterness often associated with Connecticut Shade. There is some nice spice on the lips and touch of pepper that you may not expect along with a pronounced floral note. Hoofty Hellbound (6.5"x54) - A gorgeous premium blend that will wow boutique fans. A quintessential Nicaraguan small-batch cigar, it oozes character from the opening bell right through round 12. The wrapper is a lovely, dark, mahogany brown Habano leaf with ample tooth, nice oily sheen, and very slight veins. Heavy in the hand, this dense, meaty boomstick is well constructed. The pre-light cold draw brings a pleasant floral component. Gold Standard Sublime (rondo) (6.5"x56) - Hailing from Raymond Pages and his Tabacalera Pages factory, Penn Standard Gold is draped in a grade-A Connecticut Ecuador wrapper and it is positively gorgeous. Seamless and beautiful with a golden color, slightly oily sheen, and attractive toothiness. A roll between the thumb and forefinger tells you this lovely stick is going to be a treat. Pirates Gold Toro (6"x54) - Connecticut Ecuador wrapper that's buttery looking with some nice sheen and tooth. Out of the gate it's a tad feisty, with an opening pepper bomb that dissipates after the first few puffs before a pronounced creamy component kicks in, with hints of spice, toast, plus a floral note on the finish. The delicious creamy flavor lingers throughout the cigar. Smooth and velvety, it's on the milder side of mild to medium in body, with a mix of sweet and salt, some lingering spice and a honey bread character.
