About this listing
Each sampler includes 2 each: Penn Standard Original Magnum 54 (rondo) (6.5"x54) - A gorgeous, dark horse of a blend from Nicaragua that will captivate you the moment you lay eyes on it. Have a look at the luscious, dark, genuine Pennsylvania-grown Broadleaf Maduro wrapper, an oily beauty with some nice mottling and tooth that will have you drooling – a preview of things to come. The binder is Habano-seed Esteli-grown leaf; the multi-country fillers are a recipe of Habano Esteli and Habano Condega grown in the jet black volcanic soils of Nicaragua together with Habano Copan from Honduras. On the opening, there’s nice sweetness on the lips with a refined flavor that’s smooth and almost chocolatey together with some spices, yet zero bite and no harshness. The ash is grey and holds firm, developing layer after layer before falling off in large chunks as it progresses. The smoke clouds billow with copious amounts of smoke. Warmer, creamy and smooth with a baked bread aroma, it burns slow with continued spice and strength throughout. Into the second half there is natural tobacco sweetness, hints of coffee, cocoa and leather with a pronounced hickory note and a mellow, pleasant finish on the palate. On the fuller side of medium to full bodied. Last of My Kind Sigma (6.2"x54) - Full-bodied, robust, complex cigar brimming with leather flavors, there is no doubt. But that is said of many cigars. This one is hard to do justice because it has layers upon layers of flavor and more complexity than most. The wrapper is perfect: oily, Habano, dark, toothy. Megilla Original Gran Toro (6"x52) - A full-flavored, full-bodied, boutique Nicaraguan cigar gem. If you're a fan of uber-boutique, lower-production craft cigars, this blend is your new favorite. Megilla brings an absolutely gorgeous, oily Habano wrapper that's practically oozing with oils. Dark brown with a dark reddish hue, it's utterly redolent. This wrapper is paired with a Nicaraguan binder and choice blend of Nicaraguan Ligero tobacco for the long-fillers. Megilla is loaded with spice plus notes of toast, sweetness, and a BBQ-like aroma. Record Bond Original No. 5 (6.5"x50) - Oily Ecuador Habano leaf with lovely sheen and ample tooth, combined with a Condega binder and long-fillers from Pennsylvania, Condega, and Esteli. Out of the gate it's on the full side with nice nicotine power, then mellows as it burns delivering notes of leather, cedar, chocolate, earth, and a slight sweetness. Record Bond Edicion Limitada Mark II (6.5"x54) - Dark Connecticut Broadleaf wrapper with nice tooth and well-balanced rich, spicy-sweet, peaty flavors, notes of warm baked bread and toast with a smooth yet robust, full-bodied profile.
